To access the settings, click on the ⋮ icon in the top right corner of the Brevidy panel.
Undo
Click the Undo button to undo the last action. This only works if you have made changes to the captions, not if you have made changes to the media selection.
Redo
Click the Redo button to redo the last action. This only works if you have made changes to the captions, not if you have made changes to the media selection.
Re-Transcribe
Click the Re-Transcribe button to re-transcribe the current sequence. This will remove the existing captions and transcribe the sequence again.
Re-Sync
Click the Re-Sync button to re-sync the panel with the current sequence.
Settings
Click the Settings button to open the settings window. Here you can adjust the following options:
Auto scroll to active caption
When enabled, the Brevidy panel will automatically scroll to the active caption inside of the panel.
Hide tooltips
When enabled, Brevidy hides helper tooltips throughout the panel.
Require in/out points for captions
When enabled, Brevidy requires I and O points before caption jobs can run.
AI Models
Choose which model powers Media suggestions and Suggest highlights. These settings are saved for future jobs.
Media Save Location
Choose where media browser downloads are saved on this machine. Enable Use custom media save folder, then pick a folder.
Custom Font PostScript Names
Click Refresh Fonts to reload locally installed fonts. If a font is not detected automatically, add its PostScript name manually.
Export SRT
Click the Export SRT button to export the captions as an SRT file. It will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Refer & Earn
Eligible accounts see a Refer & earn button in the panel header. Use it to copy your referral link or open the creator partnership inquiry.
Logout
Click the Logout button to log out of Brevidy. This will remove your account from the panel and you will need to log in again to use Brevidy.
