The cut tool allows you to adjust the start and end times of the sequence. This is useful when using Autocut, as it allows you quickly adjust the opening or closing sentence that AI has selected. Additionally, the cut tool allows you to remove silences from your sequence.
How to adjust the start and end times
- Click on the cut tool icon in the toolbar.
- Click on a word in the Brevidy panel to adjust the in or out point.
- Selecting a word towards the beginning of the sequence will adjust the in point.
- Selecting a word towards the end of the sequence will adjust the out point.
How to remove silences
- Click on the cut tool icon in the toolbar.
- Adjust the
Thresholdslider to control the amount of silence that is removed. - Adjust the
Bufferslider to control the amount of silence that is kept. - Click
Remove Silencesto remove the silence from the sequence.
